This was a group case study. We had to create a 2 minutes long motion video about any topic we could choose. Our prompt was about marine life, a project we named “Ocean, beyond reality”.
challenge
It was a real challenge to do this project remotely (covid 19 period).
The pre-production was heavy, we had a lot of: datas sets (fishes, backgrounds, corals, submarine, diver, icons, tags…), key facts.. We prepared a mood board, a storyboard, found someone for the voice over, choose and edit soundtrack, picked typography & colors…
After doing all those pre works, it was finally time to start working on the animation itself : marine life & diver movements, bubbles, tags in & out, zone timer, matching soundtrack & voice-over etc…
